I have been away now from my hometown for over ten years while finishing up my schooling. It has been a great experience of meeting people from around the world and branching out from small town life, but the mountains of North Carolina kept calling me home. I was a little worried since I moved back during winter, but fortunately it has been a mild one to help transition me from the South Florida heat.
My husband and I both grew up here and just could not resist the opportunity to come back to friends and family and the community that is near and dear to our hearts. I think that idea of coming home is what drew me to the little house on Boylston Highway for my orthodontic office. I love to travel, but I love the comfort of home even more and having friends and family over for a fun evening or an afternoon watching the game. That comfort is what I want my patients to experience. Going to the doctor can sometimes be scary or overwhelming, so my goal is to have my patients feel at home so they can relax and enjoy their experience.
Along those lines, I want this blog to be light and informative that will keep everyone up to date on what might be going on at the office as well as answering any questions on topics in dentistry, orthodontics and your health. The world is constantly changing and information is constantly thrown at us, and it can be challenging to know what is true and what may be only part of the story. If there is anything you want to see discussed don’t hesitate to let me know!
